Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Rendwar — the game, its launcher, this website and the services around them, provided by Stingtail Games ("we", "us"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them.

Your account

  • You need an account to play. Keep your password and your email address current and to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • One person, one account. Do not sell, share or transfer it.
  • You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent's or guardian's consent.

Playing fair

Rendwar is a shared online world. When you play you must not:

  • cheat, use bots, automation or tools that give an unfair advantage, or exploit bugs — report them instead;
  • harass, threaten or abuse other players, or post hateful, illegal or sexual content;
  • impersonate our staff or other players, or try to get into other people's accounts;
  • interfere with the servers or with other players' connection to them.

We may warn, mute, suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and remove what they gained by doing so.

Licence and virtual items

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play the game for as long as you hold a valid licence (bought on Steam, in our store, or through an activation key). In-game currency, ships, equipment and other virtual items have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money, and remain ours to change or remove as the game evolves. Seasons reset parts of the world on schedule; that is part of the game, not a loss.

The service

Rendwar is an online game in active development. We work to keep it running, but we may change, pause or end features, seasons or the service itself. Planned maintenance is announced in our news.

Purchases

Purchases in our store are covered by our Refund Policy. Purchases on Steam are covered by Steam's own terms.

Liability

The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; when the change matters, we will tell you in the launcher or by email before it takes effect. Questions: [email protected].
